Ideal Candidates will have 3 + years in the printing industry specifically in Bindery. These positions require a person who has a Mathematical and analytical aptitude as well as problem solving skills with general computer proficiency. This Pressroom Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining all pre press, pressroom and bindery equipment while consistently fulfilling work orders and any necessary preventative maintenance and clean up. In this role you will also assist/request any contracted service, maintenance vendors and supplies in order to ensure that the print facility operates at the highest standard. Mechanical experience in printing industry is a must. A year of solid mechanical experience in bindery with stitch/trim or perfect binder operation and a year of experience with Heat Set press is preferred. Incumbent must be capable of reading mechanical drawings, mechanical tolerances, using calipers, micrometers, and surface indicators.
