1965 Austin Mini Cooper S Mark I. This Mini is one of the actual lhd North American Export cars built; only about 1,250 were exported in 1965. The Mini was built in November of 1965 and was exported in December of 1965 and sold new in the San Francisco bmc dealer in January of 1966. Fully restored 4 years ago. Bare metal re-paint using (with nitro cellulose Lacquer) bmc Tartan Red with a cream top. Lacquer was used as in original production. This car qualifies for many of the vintage rallies and track events around the world. For vintage racing the car comes with a csrg logbook. The car was campaigned at Sears Point and Laguna Seca in 2001. Included with the sale original seats, approved roll cage, competition hood and pin attachments.
