The 75 Lincoln Continental was a distinctively styled and highly equipped luxury car. During 1975 the 2-door hardtop model was replaced with a pillared coupe to further differentiate it from Ford and Mercury models. The 75 also received square opera windows in its C-pillars and braking performance was significantly improved as the Continental became one of the first American cars with 4-wheel disc brakes. This particular example is a 2 owner car with 6,769 original miles. The original owner drove it very rarely before it went into storage in the early Eighties. The current (2nd) owner purchased it in the fall of 2010. During its twenty plus years in storage it received a few nicks and bruises from not being covered so the current owner decided to repaint it in its original color of White and it shows like new. Since it had been sitting for quite some time it was completely gone through at which time it received all new tires, shocks, belts, fluids, filters, a new battery and the A/C
