I have a 1963 Buick Skylark that I bought roughly 4 years ago and never did anything with. It's a rolling chassis basically, body is in excellent same for it's age. Glass looks good. The interior is pretty much gutted and there is a hole cut in the trans hump where I'm guessing someone had wanted to run a manual shifter at. The chrome is in fair shape and I do have the front grill it's just not attatched to the car. Also the wiring system was gutted when I bought it. The car hasn't been registered in over 15 years and is off the state record, so late tags don't apply. The only paper work will be a bill of sale and the chp vin Inspection paper that is approved by a chp officer. I was told by the officer that all that all you have to do is take that in and pay a new registration, title, and plate fee's and your good to go. I can not say this is 100% true as I don't know the dmv rules well, but according to the officer that is all that is necessary. It's a light weight car perfect to turn
