I have a 1989 ford f250 3/4 ton truck, third owner, clean title in hand, current smog and registration certificates in hand. factory camper special (1 ton rear axle and hd springs plus factory limited slip) power windows, door locks, cruise control, a/c and heat 5 speed manual 158k miles on 5.8l v8 4x4 with manual locking hubs class 5 tow hitch with electronic brake controller in bed plugs for camper or 5th wheel always maintained many new parts in past year, not all necessary just preventative maintenance: distributor water pump fuel pumps and senders new tires with warranty pinion seal alternator brand new battery i have receipts for all parts and warranties, truck is in excellent mechanical condition, it is a work truck and has been for the past few years so the paint and body has many small chips and scratches mainly in the bed. this is an excellent work truck and has never left me stranded with everything in perfect working order and with the 5 speed has

89 F350 4x4 on 35 inch mud terrains. 170k 460 big block v8 engine that's in great running condition and a 5 speed manual trans. Just made it down and bike to daytona fl for bike week. Couple thousand miles. No issues. I would say its pretty reliable. New windshield and state inspection.
